Quote of the Week 10/23/17: Food & Feelings - Queen of the Food Age
Happy Monday again, my followers! I spent the weekend in Greenville and got to see 2 of my best friends, go apple picking, get attacked by bees, play lots of games, and eat waaay too much delicious food. Hope you enjoyed your weekend as much as I did! This week’s quote comes from Ernest Hemingway, an author I generally dislike, but ended up really liking this particular quote (thanks, Goodreads, for the inspiration). “As I ate the oysters with their strong taste of the sea and their faint metallic taste that the cold white wine washed away, leaving only the sea taste and the succulent texture, and as I drank their cold liquid from each shell and washed it down with the crisp taste of the wine, I lost the empty feeling and began to be happy and to make plans.” — Ernest Hemingway
