On Saturday January 13 from 1pm - 4pm, James Island's only Brewery, Famulari's Brewpub is hosting an oyster roast for the release of a special new beer and giving a portion of the proceeds to benefit Oyster Habitat Preservation. Perfect for this occasion, guests can enjoy and sample the Brewpub's new beer: Sea Pearl Oyster Stout along with all-you-can-eat oysters for just $20. Toadfish Outfitters will also be there running a pop-up shop so guests can browse and shop while they sip and slurp back fresh oysters. Charleston's local tavern, The Brick is partnering with non-profit, Communities In Schools Charleston to give the community of the Lowcountry an opportunity to help support students as well as compete for a chance to win $100 gift card and a suite at the RiverDogs Game, all by just playing Trivia. On the first Wednesday of each month starting February 7, The Brick is hosting a Trivia Night where 10% of the proceeds will be donated to the Alumni Association of Communities in Schools of the Charleston Area. The competition for the ultimate Trivia Champion will continue until July 4 where the winner of the $100 gift card and RiverDogs suite will be announced.  On February 8th Queen Street Hospitality’s 82 Queen will host the Duckhorn Wine Dinner, an elegant dinner comprised of four courses and five wines exclusively from Duckhorn Vineyards. 82 Queen will donate $10 of each ticket sold to fund charities assisting with the recent and devastating Napa wildfires. “We are thrilled to partner once again with Duckhorn Vineyards for the Duckhorn Wine Dinner at 82 Queen,” says 82 Queen General Manager Fernando Fry. “This year’s dinner means even more to our team as part of the proceeds will help fund charities working hard to alleviate the disaster left by the recent California wild fires. Famulari’s National Pizza Day Charity Promo

On National Pizza Day, Friday Feb. 9, 2018, guests can buy a slice of pizza for someone less fortunate. Famulari’s will match all of the donations, up to $1000 worth of pizza. The pizzeria will then coordinate with One80 Place shelters located in downtown Charleston to schedule when to deliver the donations. On Tuesday, February 13 from 3-9pm Bay Street Biergarten is throwing the Fat Tuesday party of the year with trivia, music, mouth watering food and drinks all to benefit St Jude Children’s Hospital. Biergarten is partnering with NASH-FM’s Tori Lynn and Jay for the ultimate Mardi Gras Fundraiser. There will be a Fat Tuesday version of Biergarten’s weekly Taps, Tacos, and Trivia with Mardi Gras themed taco specials, a Mardi Gras round in trivia along with Mardi Gras music and commentary from the NASH team between questions. Biergarten will be running a taco special where guests can enjoy $4 for each taco or 3 for $11 of house made crawfish or alligator tacos. The brewery is partnering with NASH-FM and The South Carolina Stingrays to bring guests the ultimate night of live music, beer pong, connect four, corn hole, a jump castle and a chance to win tickets to Brantley Gilbert's show at the Coliseum - all while eating chili for charity. Charleston’s Chef Tres Jackson has been invited to showcase his talents on sacred culinary grounds…at the James Beard House. The New York City food and beverage namesake is reserved to feature only the most revered chefs in the industry like legends Daniel Boulud, Nobu Matsuhisa, and Gail Gand who have all cooked there.
