Well, it’s my favorite time of year in Charleston: Restaurant Week! The Greater Charleston Restaurant Association, Inc. has announced its Winter 2016 installment of Charleston Restaurant Week will be happening Wednesday, January 6 – Sunday, January 17. Diners are invited to begin the New Year by experiencing the diverse and enticing mix of Charleston’s world-renowned restaurant offerings. Charleston Restaurant Week is one of the most anticipated culinary events of the season, providing locals and visitors alike with the opportunity to experience award-winning cuisine from acclaimed Charleston chefs at an affordable cost. “The participation in Charleston Restaurant Week continues to grow year after year, as does the innovative restaurant menu offerings,” states Greater Charleston Restaurant Association President Anthony DiBernardo. “We are excited to kick off 2016 in Charleston with twelve days of delicious dining for an incredible value.” Patrons can choose special offerings at participating restaurants. Over 140 restaurants participate in Charleston Restaurant Week twice a year (both in January and in September) including favorites such as Indaco, Halls Chophouse and Coast Bar and Grill.
